If you want to take in a little  shopping in Eastbourne, there is a really good variety.

In the town..

Enterprise Centre - Shopping in Eastbourne guesthouse tipsThe ‘Little Chelsea’ area of Eastbourne centres around Grove Rd and South St and here you can find smaller independent shops offering art, interior design, antiques, designer clothes and jewellery, as well as food, drink, music and books.

In the town you can visit all the high street names at the Arndale Centre, open 7 days a week, which has over 70 shops including large chains such as Marks & Spencer and Primark.

Housed within a restored Victorian Railway building by the station, the Enterprise Shopping Centre has a great mix of small and different outlets and services from gifts, clothing, drum kits, healing therapies to noodles.

And all over the town you can find great spots to stop for a coffee break or something to eat or drink

On the seafront…

…when the Continental Market arrives at the promenade you can try Brittany biscuits, olives, Italian nougat, cheeses, sausages, meats, fresh bread, croissants and crepes, as these are showcased by professional continental market traders from France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Holland, Poland and many more countries

… Further east along the seafront beyond the Redoubt Fortress , near the Lifeboat station, is a wonderful fishmonger with a huge variety of seasonal produce fresh from the sea. We have guests from London who make this a ‘must visit’ on every trip…

Further afield…

.. among the farms in Sussex, the Middle Farm at Firle has a Farm Shop with its own butchery, cheese shop and restaurant. And best of all a special collection of cider and perry. Make sure you have a designated driver…
